The Rigours of the English Summer — See Blog 450

Dreadful weather, isn't it?
— Oh! Terrible! Can't remember such a rotten June.
— Nor can I.
— I feel sorry for all those poor devils
taking the only couple of weeks' holiday
they have all the year
with rain like this all the time.
— Too true. Fancy dragging a clutch of bawling kids
to some bleak seaside place only to be trapped
in some dingy boarding house.
—Hmm! That's why those awful holiday camps
are so popular, no doubt.
— Mm! However dragooned you are
at least there's bags of indoor entertainment
for the whole family.
